1. What SubNova does

SubNova generates AI subtitles and captions for short videos. You upload a video, we transcribe it, you edit the transcript and caption style, and you can export a captioned MP4. Previewing is free; exporting requires signing in with Google and an active paid plan.

2. Accounts

You sign in with your Google account. You are responsible for activity on your account and must provide accurate information. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your country.

3. Plans and prices

Prices are in USD and exclude applicable taxes, which are added at checkout.

• Free — free (preview only, no export). Unlimited live previews; All 6 caption styles; Export requires Pro.
• Pro — $19/month, or $12/month billed yearly ($144/year). Unlimited 1080p exports; Videos up to 10 min · 60fps; Custom colors, fonts & emoji.
• Business — $29/month. Everything in Pro + 4K export; 3 team seats · shared brand kit; Priority rendering & support.

4. Payments — Paddle is our Merchant of Record

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries related to billing and handles returns, and processes payments, taxes and invoices on our behalf. By purchasing you also agree to Paddle's Checkout Buyer Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the videos you upload and the captions generated from them. You grant us a limited licence to process them solely to provide the Service. You confirm you have the rights to the content you upload.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not upload unlawful content or content you have no right to use.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or overload the Service.
• Do not resell or share your paid access outside your plan.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for a reliable service but provide it “as is”. AI transcripts may contain errors; please review them before publishing. We may change features or these terms; continued use after a change means you accept it.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
