1. Data we collect

• Google sign-in: your name, email address and profile avatar, received from Google when you sign in. We do not receive your Google password and never post on your behalf.
• Your content: videos you upload, the audio extracted from them, and the generated transcripts and caption settings.
• Subscription data: your plan, status and Paddle customer/subscription identifiers. We do not see or store your card details.
• Technical data: basic logs (IP address, browser, errors) used for security and reliability.

2. How we use it

To sign you in, generate and edit captions, render and deliver exports, manage your subscription, prevent abuse and answer support requests. We do not sell your personal data.

3. Uploaded videos, transcripts and retention

Transcription runs in your browser where possible. Project files needed for previews and exports are stored temporarily on our servers and rendered MP4 files are stored only long enough for you to download them. Project files are deleted automatically after a short period (generally within days) and you can ask us to delete them sooner. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted on request, except where we must keep records by law (for example invoices, held by Paddle).

4. Payments — Paddle

Payments are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, which collects and processes your payment and billing details under its own privacy policy. We receive only the information needed to manage your subscription.

5. Service providers

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, file storage) and Google for authentication, who process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.

6. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can request access, correction, export or deletion of your data, or object to processing. Email [SUPPORT EMAIL] and we will respond within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies to keep you signed in and secure checkout. We do not use advertising cookies.

8. Changes
